General Remarks

Vietnam has relatively efficient permit processing with a 3-day official lead time for landing permits. Short-notice requests are often accommodated at CAAV discretion. TCAS/ACAS requirement for aircraft over 15,000 kg is strictly enforced. Landing permit validity is only 24 hours, requiring precise scheduling.
