Yes. The map, live traffic, NOTAM alerts and airspace are free with no limits. Airport pages are metered per day, and opening an airport on the map counts as one: 3 airport pages a day without an account, 15 a day with a free account, plus 3 more a day for every point you earn. At 50 points the daily limit goes away. No credit card needed.

Data Sky Center maintains the data, with community corrections. Registered users can propose corrections and additions to any airport field, and every edit is reviewed before it is published. NOTAMs come from the FAA NOTAM feed (US, plus international NOTAMs it relays), DECEA AISWEB (Brazil) and NAV CANADA (Canada). Other countries can have partial or no NOTAM coverage, and each airport page says what was checked.

Absolutely. Create a free account, navigate to any airport page, and click the pencil icon on any field to propose an edit. Your first approved edit at each airport earns a point.

NOTAMs (Notices to Air Missions) are official alerts issued by aviation authorities about temporary changes or hazards at airports or in airspace, like runway closures, airspace restrictions, or navigational warnings. DSC shows NOTAMs on the interactive map and on airport pages, where a note says which source was checked, or that no live source covers the airport.

DSC provides overflight and landing permit requirements for 150+ countries, including lead times, issuing authorities, fees, exemptions, and application processes, organized by operation type (private, non-scheduled, scheduled).

DSC offers three plans: Free (3 airport pages a day without an account, 15 a day with a free account plus 3 per point, unlimited at 50 points), Provider Standard ($10/mo to list your business at an airport), and Provider Gold (from $50/mo for premium ranked placement via competitive bidding).

You earn 1 point for your first approved edit at each airport (permit edits earn 1 per country), and 1 for each field you confirm (up to 20 a day) or fuel price you report (one per airport and fuel type a day, up to 10 a day) while signed in. Service provider accounts do not earn points. Every point adds 3 airport pages and 3 rides in the 3D cockpit to your free daily allowance, and at 50 points both daily limits go away. Points are also displayed on the leaderboard so contributors can track their ranking.

Yes. All paid plans are month-to-month with no contracts. You can cancel from your profile settings at any time and your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
