Prior permission required for all private flights and general aviation.

Overflight Permit

Working hours 1100Z-1600Z. Permit confirms no political or security objections and no outstanding navigation fees.
Submit overflight clearance request to CASAS Air Transport Department. Provide flight schedule, entry/exit points with ATC route, lead passenger details, consignee/consigner details for cargo, and aircraft documents (AOC, COA, COI, CON, COR).
Landing Permit

- Authority: Civil Aviation Safety Authority Suriname (CASAS)
- Lead Time: 48 working hours prior to departure
- Validity: 72 hours from initially requested schedule
- Fees: Landing and parking charges apply
Prior permission required for all operations: private, GA, charter, scheduled, non-scheduled, cargo, technical or traffic landings.
Submit to CASAS with full flight details and aircraft documentation. Include all crew and passenger information.
Cabotage
Restricted. Domestic operations subject to Surinamese aviation regulations.
