Requirements by Operation Type

Private passenger flights require specific overflight permit type.

All non-scheduled operations require prior permit. Various permit types available: charter passenger, private, and non-scheduled cargo.

Scheduled and non-scheduled airline block permits available (monthly and seasonal).

Validity: 72 hours from initial requested schedule
Fees: No CAA processing fees; navigation charges apply

Permit number format: AT/P/10-05/ON/123456. Online Landing & Overflight Clearance System available.

Application Process:

Submit application to RCAA Air Transport Department at least 2 working days prior with flight schedule, entry/exit points, and aircraft documents (AOC, COA, COI, CON, COR).

Landing Permit

Required: Yes
Authority: RCAA - Air Transport Department
Lead Time: 2 working days (48 working hours) before departure
Validity: 72 hours from initial requested schedule
Fees: Landing and parking fees apply
