Remarks:

Provide: operator name, aircraft type & registration, arrival/departure times, embarkation/disembarkation points, purpose of flight 3. No CAA processing fees 4. QCAA operates 24 hours for processing 5. Include permit number in flight plan

Landing Permit

  • Fees: No CAA processing fees; standard landing/parking fees at OTHH
Remarks:

Required for ALL non-scheduled flights. Hamad International Airport (OTHH) is the primary airport and is slot-coordinated. Doha International (OTBD) may be used for GA/bizav. First landing/final departure must be at an international aerodrome. Letter from local receiving party/charterer may be required. Insurance must comply with Qatar Civil Aviation Law No. 15 of 2002.

Application Process:

1. Engage a local ground handler 2. Submit landing permit to QCAA at least 72 hours (5 business days recommended) before 3. Provide: operator name, aircraft type & registration, schedule, embarkation/disembarkation points, purpose, passenger/freight details 4. Include letter from local receiving party or charterer (if applicable) 5. Provide insurance compliant with Qatar Civil Aviation Law No. 15 of 2002 6. Obtain airport slot at OTHH (slot-coordinated) 7. First arrival must be at designated international aerodrome 8. No government processing fees; pay standard landing/parking fees
