Overflight Permit

Remarks:

Mandatory for all foreign aircraft flying through Nigerian airspace without landing. Faster approval than landing permits. Provide: operator name, aircraft details, flight schedule, entry/exit points, crew/pax count.

Remarks:

Required for ALL international operations. Local handler REQUIRED. NCAA scrutinizes maintenance documentation -- provide last three signed-off pages of maintenance logs. Comprehensive documentation review including airworthiness, registration, radio license, and noise certificates.

Application Process:

1. Engage a local ground handler (REQUIRED) 2. Submit landing permit to NCAA at least 72 hours (4-5 business days recommended) before 3. Provide: aircraft registration, airworthiness certificate, radio license, noise certificate, AOC (charter) 4. Provide: LAST THREE SIGNED-OFF PAGES of maintenance logs (scrutinized) 5. Lagos Murtala Muhammed (DNMM) is the primary international airport. Abuja (DNAA) also receives significant bizav traffic. Handler appointment is mandatory. NCAA maintenance documentation scrutiny is strict -- ensure maintenance logs are current and properly signed off.
