Requirements by Operation Type

Private flights require landing authorization from ANAC-Niger.

All non-scheduled operations require prior permit including charter passenger, cargo, and private flights.

Scheduled flights covered by bilateral agreements. No special permission required for bilateral-covered services.

Application Process:

Submit application to ANAC-Niger Air Transport Department at least 24-48 working hours prior with full flight details and documentation.

Landing Permit

  • Authority: ANAC-Niger
  • Lead Time: 48 working hours before departure
  • Validity: 72 hours from initial requested schedule
  • Fees: Landing and parking fees apply; ASECNA navigation charges
Remarks:

All non-scheduled, private, and charter flights require landing authorization. Scheduled airlines covered by bilateral agreements.

Application Process:

Submit application to ANAC-Niger with aircraft documents (AOC, Operations Specifications, crew licenses, English Proficiency and medical certificates).

Cabotage

Prohibited for foreign operators
