Overflight Permit

Overflight permits required only for flights below FL195. For overflights at or above FL195, file flight plan and notify CENAMER (joint ATC for Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua). Working hours 1500Z-2300Z.
Submit overflight clearance request to AHAC Air Transport Department with flight schedule, entry/exit points, ATC route, purpose of flight, and crew details.
Landing Permit

Prior permission required for all types: private, charter, scheduled, non-scheduled, cargo, technical or traffic landings.
Submit to AHAC with flight schedule, purpose of flight, crew details, and all relevant aircraft documentation ahead of time.
Cabotage
Restricted. Domestic air transport reserved for Honduran carriers.
General Remarks
Honduras is part of the CENAMER joint ATC region. Overflights at or above FL195 only require flight plan filing with CENAMER notification. Below FL195, a formal permit is required.
