Application Process:

Submit overflight clearance request to GCAA Air Transport Department with flight schedule, entry/exit points, ATC route, passenger details, and aircraft documents (AOC, COA, COI, CON, COR). Online portal available via GCAA e-Services.

Landing Permit

Remarks:

Prior permission mandatory for all aircraft types - private, charter, scheduled, non-scheduled, cargo, technical stops. GCAA launched e-Services portal for online landing permit applications.

Apply via GCAA e-Services portal or directly to Air Transport Department. Provide flight schedule, purpose, crew details, and full aircraft documentation.

Cabotage

Restricted. Domestic operations reserved for Guyanese-registered carriers.

Guyana is a Chicago Convention signatory. Flight and crew conditions must comply with ICAO general rules. Transport of troops, equipment, materials, and dangerous goods subject to additional regulations.
