Civil Aviation Authority

Private flights require permits. AOC not required for private aircraft.

All non-scheduled flights require prior overflight and landing permits.

Scheduled services governed by bilateral agreements. Block permits available.

Fees: No CAA processing fees; air navigation bill issued directly to operator by CAAB

Remarks:

Permit number must be inserted in Item 18 of flight plan. AFTN must be included in flight plan.

Submit application to Air Transport Department with full flight details and aircraft documentation.

Remarks:

All foreign-registered aircraft require landing clearance.

CAAB operating hours 0600Z to 1500Z Monday to Friday. No processing fees but navigation and landing charges apply.
