Overflight Permit

  • Fees: Navigation and overflight fees apply; billed directly by ATC authority
Remarks:

EU airlines prohibited from Belarusian airspace since 2021 (reciprocal ban). EU has banned Belarusian carriers from EU airspace. Submit via AFTN Form 2. Include approved permission number in FPL Item 18.

Application Process:

Submit Form 2 via AFTN direct to authorities. Include routings and FIR information. Permit number must be included in Item 18 of flight plan.

Landing Permit

  • Validity: 24 hours from initial requested schedule
  • Fees: Landing and handling fees apply per airport schedule
Remarks:

Prior permission required for all flight types: private, charter, scheduled, non-scheduled, cargo. EU sanctions severely restrict operations. Belarus bans landing of aircraft entering from EU.

Belarus aviation is heavily sanctioned by the EU since 2021 (Ryanair FR4978 incident). EU carriers cannot overfly or land. Belarusian carriers banned from EU airspace. Reciprocal restrictions in place. CAA operates 24 hours.
