TORA

TORA (Takeoff Run Available) is the length of runway declared available and suitable for the ground run of an aircraft taking off. TORA starts at the beginning of the runway or a point designated for takeoff and ends at the runway end or any point before it restricted by obstacles or regulations.

Performance calculations must ensure that the required takeoff run does not exceed the TORA under the prevailing conditions of weight, temperature, altitude, wind, and runway surface.
