LDA

LDA (Landing Distance Available) is the length of runway declared available and suitable for the ground run of an aircraft landing. The LDA may be less than the physical runway length due to a displaced threshold.

LDA is one of the four declared distances for each runway direction, along with TORA, TODA, and ASDA. Performance calculations must ensure that the required landing distance does not exceed the LDA under the prevailing conditions.
