ICAO Annex System

The ICAO Annex System consists of 19 technical annexes to the 1944 Chicago Convention, containing the international Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) that govern civil aviation worldwide.

Annex 8: Airworthiness of Aircraft

Annex 13: Aircraft Accident Investigation
Annex 14: Aerodromes
Annex 17: Security
Annex 19: Safety Management

Each state is expected to implement SARPs into national regulations. Differences must be notified to ICAO.
