Ezeiza Intl Ministro Pistarini
A Journey Through Time
1949 — 2019
Aeropuerto Internacional Ministro Pistarini opened on 30 April 1949, located 35 km southwest of Buenos Aires in the locality of Ezeiza. It was the first purpose-built international airport in South America.
Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 assumed operations in a privatisation deal, investing heavily in terminal renovations and bringing the airport up to modern international standards.
Ezeiza completed a major expansion of Terminal A, adding new boarding bridges, expanded duty-free areas, and a modernised arrivals hall to handle 12 million international passengers annually.
